Rush "Rush In Rio"

Rush In Rio is Rush's first concert DVD, and it's a double DVD extravaganza with 28 songs, a documentary ("The Boys In Brazil", directed by Andrew MacNaughtan), and several multi-angle songs ("YYZ", "O Baterista" and "La Villa Strangiato"). To see Alex Lifeson (guitar), Geddy Lee (bass/vocals) and Neil Peart (drums) doing their Brazilian show in a widescreen format is a totally awsome experience. A mind-blowing, sensory-expanding experience to be sure.

The Best Of Riverdance

The DVD debut of Michael Flatley's performance in Riverdance (or at least part of it) is one of the highlights of The Best of Riverdance, a generous survey of the Irish hard-shoe sensation that has riveted live audiences and PBS viewers for a decade. Beginning with the 1994 Eurovision Song Contest performance that led to the full-length stage show, the program compiles a number of highlights from the show's history, taken mostly from three sources. There's the original 1995 televised show starring the flamboyant, record-setting tapper Flatley and his partner, Jean Butler.

Al Di Meola "One Of These Nights"

One Of These Nights was a very special event - a night which conjured up memories of the legendary "Friday Night In San Francisco". Pianist Mario Parmisano and the two master drummers Ernie Adams and Gumbi Ortiz were, as always, a perfectly tuned partnership, and Hungary's Stucz String Quartet gave the music an exceptional quality. Masterful solos, humorous dialogues and fascinating dynamics between the musicians rounded off this live recording, a stroll through Al DiMeola's rich repertoire. A truly magical concert.

Celtic Tiger

Michael Flatley, the internationally acclaimed master of dance returns to the stage to spearhead his powerful new dance spectacular, Celtic Tiger. With incredibly powerful music, unbelievable costumes and breathtaking special effects, Celtic Tiger is an epic masterpiece that fuses the spirit and history of Ireland with dance and music.

Burn The Floor

Filmed at its world premiere and starring 44 of the world's champion ballroom and Latin dancers, Burn the Floor is the dance sensation that has taken the world by storm. An explosive journey through dance, it takes you on a roller coaster ride from the elegance and beauty of its opening waltz through the emotion and heart of "Passionata" to the cool sexy modern beats of the contemporary finale, "Would You Like to Dance with Me?" Burn the Floor is receiving standing ovations and rave reviews worldwide for its excitement, energy, skill, and passion.

Blackmore's Night "Castles & Dreams"

Not only is Ritchie Blackmore one of the technically most accomplished guitarists in the world, he is also one of the most exceptional and uncompromising musicians. Following his extremely successful years with Deep Purple and Rainbow, he left all commercial considerations aside, founding Blackmore's Night with his partner Candice Night and devoting himself single-mindedly to his greatest passion, the music of the Middle Ages. Since then the renaissance-infused magic of Blackmore's Nght has captured the hearts and minds of fans and media around the globe.

Riverdance

Riverdance - Live From New York City - features brand new pieces never seen on video before, including: the joyous and enthralling "American Wake," the rousing "Harbour of the New World," the moving "Homecoming," and the tantalizing duelling of "Trading Taps," alongside classic, timeless pieces such as "Riverdance," "Thunderstorm," and "Heartland."

Michael Flatley's Feet Of Flames

An expanded and more polished version of Lord of the Dance, Feet of Flames was recorded at an outdoor performance in London's Hyde Park. While much of the material is familiar to Flatley fans, the production is superior in every way. It's better photographed and the editing is less frenetic. The individual segments are sharper, more self-assured, as is Flatley, who also produced and directed this version.

Metallica "Cunning Stunts"

Recorded live in Fort Worth, Texas, USA, on May 9-10, 1997. This is right in the thick of the "Load" tour when Metallica were trying something different. "So What" sounds pretty damn good and it's a good way to open the show. Right from that into "Creeping Death" which always sounds cool live. Later, a nice little version of "Fuel" with alternate lyrics and as always, "Fuel" smokes live. Then a bass/guitar doodle of "My Friend Of Misery" and "Sanitarium" into a very good version of "Nothing Else Matters".
