Rocky IV

Rocky proudly holds the world heavyweight boxing championship, but a new challenger has stepped forward: Drago, a six-foot, four-inch, 261-pound fighter who has the backing of the Soviet Union. Rocky's friend, Apollo Creed fights Drago in an exhibition match, but after Creed's tragic defeat, Rocky knows he must avenge his friend and beat the Soviet adversary. Rocky's training regimen takes him to icy Siberia, where he prepares for a globally-televised match in the heart of Moscow. It's a powerfully-charged event as Rocky takes on Drago in a heart-pounding fight to the finish.

Rocky II

After club fighter Rocky Balboa goes the distance with heavyweight champ Apollo Creed, boxing fans clamor for a rematch. But Rocky, having sustained massive injuries in the bout, announces his retirement. He concentrates on his relationship with Adrian, marrying her and attempting to settle into the routine of family life. But as Rocky tries to make a new start for himself, he realizes that he can't escape his true calling. The ring beckons once more, and the "Italian Stallion" must prepare for the fight of his life.

The Road Warrior

In the annals of action movies, few can compare with The Road Warrior, a full-throttle epic of speed and carnage that rockets you into a dreamlike landscape where the post-nuclear future meets the mythological past. More simply, it's also one of the most mind-blowing stunt movies ever made. Mel Gibson plays Max, the heroic loner who drives the roads of outback Australia in an unending search for gasoline.

The Road To Wellville

Academy Award®-winner Anthony Hopkins leads an all star cast including Bridget Fonda, Matthew Broderick, John Cusack, and Dana Carvey in this inventive, high energy comedy filled with hilarious laughs and bawdy fun. Presiding over the renowned Battle Creek Sanitarium is the visionary corn flake inventor and health craze huckster Dr. John Harvey (Hopkins). Seeking to improve their health and their marriage in this spa/hospital/grand hotel are Eleanor (Fonda), Kellogg's spellbound devotee, and her reluctant but devoted husband Will (Broderick).

Risky Business

There's a time for playing it safe and a time for...Risky Business. Meet Joel Goodsen. Industrious, college-bound 17-year-old. Responsible, trustworthy son. But he's been good too long. Joel's parents are away and he's in charge of the house. They trust him. Maybe they shouldn't. "One of the best American comedies of recent years" (Roger Ebert), Risky Business slyly explores the teen dilemma of growing up good-hearted but guilt-ridden. In his starmaking role as Joel, Tom Cruise is a charmer with conscience that foreshadows Jerry McGuire.

Rat Race

Modeled after 1963's It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World, Jerry Zucker's Rat Race lacks the irreverence of Zucker's 1980 hit Airplane! but has enough chuckles to make it an agreeable time-killer. Like Mad, Mad, Mad..., it employs a huge ensemble of comedy stalwarts, assembled by an eccentric hotelier (pearly-toothed John Cleese) to race from Las Vegas to New Mexico for a $2 million jackpot.

Rambo III

The battle rages on as superstar Sylvester Stallone detonates the third and most explosive in the action-packed Rambo trilogy. Combat has taken its toll on John Rambo (Stallone), but he has finally begun to find inner peace inside a monastery - until his friend and mentor Col. Sam Trautman (Richard Crenna) shows up to ask for his help on a top-secret mission to Afghanistan. A war-weary Rambo declines, but when Trautman is captured, Rambo erupts into a one-man firestorm to rescue his former commanding officer and decimate the enemy.

Play Misty For Me

Clint Eastwood (making his very assured directorial debut) is a poetry-spouting stud-muffin DJ stalked by a maniacally amorous fan after a misguided one-night stand in this enjoyably schlocky, undeniably effective film about good intentions gone murderously wacky.

Planet Of The Apes (2001)

After a spectacular crash-landing on an uncharted planet, brash astronaut Leo Davidson (Mark Wahlberg) finds himself trapped in a savage world where talking apes dominate the human race. Desperate to findia way home, Leo must evade the invincible gorilla army led by ruthless General Thade (Tim Roth) and his most trusted warrior, Attar (Michael Clarke Duncan). Now the pulse-pounding race is on to reach a sacred temple that may hold the shocking secrets of mankind's past- and the last hope for its salvation.
