It is not difficult to choose between a good and a bad, but choosing the better of two goods or lesser of two evils can be really hard. Zooni Ali Beg (Kajol) gets this advice from her father when she sets out for the first time to discover the world of her own. Of course, she never knew how these words would mean to her life till the cruel fate strike. Zooni Ali Beg (Kajol) is blind but beautiful and energetic. She doesn t want handicap to stop her from discovering her own life. So, she sets out for the first time to make use of her life to the fullest. She comes across Rehan Qadri (Aamir Khan) and she finds solace in him, as he seems to understand her like no one else. She loves to be with him, as he seems to see her soul rather than her blindness. However, Rehan is a tour guide. He woos women with his poetic sense. He believes in living life to the fullest by traveling to different places and enjoying the company of every other woman he meets. Then he meets Zooni, who makes him feel a different kind of feeling. The problem is she touches his real self while he wants to hide the truth about himself. He knows that she will spoil her whole life if she becomes a part of his life. Rehan feels a soft corner for Zooni and tries to make her see what life would look like in different colors. He makes sure that the time she spends with him is the most memorable part of her life. He makes her see life, Delhi, love and everything. Zooni s friends warn her not to go with Rehan but she ignores them all. She doesn t know the other side of his man that can not only change her life but also destroy it.
