Role:

Mohenjo Daro

During the prehistoric Indus Valley civilization, in 2016 B.C. the evil greed of a man, Maham (Kabir Bedi) is about to destroy one of the oldest cities in the world, Mohenjo Daro. A young Indigo farmer, Sarman (Hrithik Roshan), enters this city, and meets Chaani (Pooja Hegde), the daughter of a priest, predicted to be the origin of a new society. Sarman, in his attempt to win Chaani's love, uncovers secrets, nobody was ever supposed to know about Chaani, about Mohenjo Daro and about his own past.

Aisha

Director Rajashree Ojha succeeds in extracting decent performances from the entire cast. Sonam Kapoor fits the title role to T. Aisha is the most defined role she has essayed so far and Sonam adds spark and soul to it. Even when she irritates with her antics, she is in sync with her character. Abhay Deol as the suave corporate guy adds poise to, both, his character and performance, bringing sanity whenever Aisha goes insane. Amrita Puri as the small-town wannabe is hilarious with her middle-class mannerisms and elite aspirations.
