The Best Of Riverdance

The DVD debut of Michael Flatley's performance in Riverdance (or at least part of it) is one of the highlights of The Best of Riverdance, a generous survey of the Irish hard-shoe sensation that has riveted live audiences and PBS viewers for a decade. Beginning with the 1994 Eurovision Song Contest performance that led to the full-length stage show, the program compiles a number of highlights from the show's history, taken mostly from three sources. There's the original 1995 televised show starring the flamboyant, record-setting tapper Flatley and his partner, Jean Butler.

Riverdance: Live From Geneva

Six years from its World Premiere in Dublin, Ireland in February 1995, over 13 million people have seen Riverdance worldwide. It still remains the most successful and biggest dance show in the world. The show has seen many changes over the years, and this latest recording, filmed live in Geneva, captures the show in its newest production. New dance routines and and new costume designs make Riverdance even more spectacular than before, while at the same time the show still features all of the original ground-breaking numbers that make Riverdance the world's most popular dance show.
