Role:

Firewall

Paul Nilsson, a successful security chief for an international bank, finds himself a pawn in a dangerous game when he receives word that his family has been kidnapped. The kidnappers, led by devious and ruthless mastermind Bill Cox, force Paul to rob his bank and commit one of the largest thefts in history. The situation becomes more ominous when he realizes that he is being set up for embezzlement and all traces of the real thieves will vanish. What follows is a high-stakes game of cat and mouse as Paul uses his security expertise to try and turn the tables on the criminals.

Walk The Line

A solid and entertaining biopic, Walk the Line works less as a movie than an actors' showcase for its stars. Joaquin Phoenix's total immersion into the skin of singer Johnny Cash is startling--watching it, you can't believe this is the same guy who whined about being "vexed" in Gladiator. As he evolves from a farm boy to gospel croonin' plunker to the Man in Black, Phoenix disappears into Cash's deep baritone, his way of slinging the guitar onto his back, and his hunched-up style of strumming.

Terminator 2: Judgment Day

Arnold Schwarzenegger returns as the Terminator in this explosive adventure spectacle. His mission: to protect John Connor, the boy destined to lead the freedom fighters of the future. His opponent: the T-1000, the most lethal machine ever created, sent back through time to kill young John. His ally: Sarah Connor, John's mother, a woman warrior whose warnings go unheeded by a world careening toward a nuclear holocaust she knows is inevitable. T2 is a tour de force of stunts and astounding special effects, built around a touching and emotional human story.

Striptease

Erin Grant (Demi Moore) must confront the naked truth: to take on the system, she must first take it off. Bounced from her job, she needs money if she's to have any chance of winning back custody of her child. The pulsating gentlemen's club world of exotic dreamgirls and whooping patrons is skewered in this lively comedy/drama co-starring Burt Reynolds, Armand Assante, Ving Rhames and Robert Patrick. Erin strips to conquer, then faces unintended circumstances when a horny hound dog of a Congressman (Reynolds) fixates on her.

Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle

Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle is a big, fun, bubble-brained mess of a movie, and that's exactly as it should be. Its popular 2000 predecessor got the formula right: gorgeous babes, throwaway plots, and as many current pop-cultural trends as you could stuff into a candy-coated dollop of Hollywood mayhem. This sequel goes one "better": The plot's even more disposable (if that's possible), the babes, cars, and fashions even more outlandish, and the stuntwork (heavily digital, heavily absurd) reaches astonishing heights of cartoon silliness.
