OMG: Oh My God

A shopkeeper takes God to court when his shop is destroyed by an earthquake. Kanji Mehta is an atheist who runs an antique shop. For him, god and religion are nothing more than a business proposition. One fine day, when a slight tremor of an earthquake shakes the city, it causes the destruction of only one shop in the entire city. Kanji's shop! However, for just such a situation he has taken out more than adequate insurance.

Hichki

Hichki presents a positive and inspiring story about a woman who turns her biggest weakness into her biggest strength. Naina Mathur (Rani Mukerji) is an aspiring teacher who suffers from Tourette Syndrome. After several interviews and numerous rejections, she lands her dream job as a full-time teacher in one of the most elite schools in the city. However, she soon realizes that the class she has been assigned comprises of defiant and impish students who can't seem to keep out of trouble.

Swades

Lagaan

Champaner… a small farming village in central India. The year is 1893. A young Indigo farmer, Sarman (Hrithik Roshan), enters this city, and meets Chaani (Pooja Hegde), the daughter of a priest, predicted to be the origin of a new society. Sarman, in his attempt to win Chaani's love, uncovers secrets, nobody was ever supposed to know about Chaani, about Mohenjo Daro and about his own past.

Neerja

Neerja is the incredible true story of the courageous Neerja Bhanot, a 23-year-old flight attendant from Chandigarh, who risked her life while protecting the lives of 359 passengers from terrorists on the Pan Am flight 73 in 1986. She became the youngest recipient of the Ashok Chakra in India. This is also the story of a girl and her family. Neerja and her mother Rama - a bond so delicately structured, brave and indulgent, and a constant light for Neerja, as she quietly battled hijackers.

Hindi Medium

A couple from Chandni Chowk aspire to give their daughter the best education and thus be a part of and accepted by the elite of Delhi. Raj Batra (Irrfan Khan) is a boutique owner who lives in Chandni Chowk, with his wife Mita (Saba Qamar) and 5-year-old daughter, Pia (Dishita Sehgal). The couple want Pia to be admitted to a prestigious English-medium school in Delhi as they feel that this will enable her to become a part of the elite of society. In order to achieve this, they move to Bharat Nagar, a slum area, for a month and pretend to be poor.

Lafangey Parindey

Set in grungy Mumbai, an edgy love story of a blindfolded street fighter and a blind dancer and their never-say-die spirit to achieve the impossible. A dash of style with loads of attitude and a hunger to reach the stars, Lafangey Parindey is about a group of youngsters living in the backstreets of Mumbai. It is an unusual love story of Nandu (Neil Nitin Mukesh) and Pinky (Deepika Padukone) whose path to love is paved by friendship, grit and hope. Two different personalities. Two different lives.
