The much anticipated cinematic return of Downton Abbey follows the Crawleys and their staff as they welcome a movie crew and their glamorous stars to Downton for the filming of a new silent movie, while other members of the family go on a grand adventure to a villa in the south of France to uncover a mystery about the Dowager Countess and her past.

Death On The Nile

Although Belgium's premiere sleuth Hercule Poirot (Kenneth Branagh) plans a spectacular Egyptian vacation aboard a glamorous river steamer, the trip turns into a terrifying search for a murderer after a picture-perfect couple's honeymoon is cut tragically short. Set against a sweeping landscape of pyramids and desert vistas, Death On The Nile features a stunning ensemble cast. Based on Agatha Christie's beloved novel, this tale of unbridled passion and jealousy is filled with wicked twists and turns that will have you guessing until the shocking finale.

Ragtime

This vivid, high-energy human tableau interweaves the lives and passions of a middle class, small town family against the scandals and events of a transitional America in 1906. Director Milos Forman and producer Dino De Laurentiis have assembled an all-star cast - including legendary James Cagney - that brings the best-selling E.L. Doctorow novel to life in unforgettable fashion, with memorable music by composer/conductor Randy Newman. Ragtime is both a compelling story of human emotions and a reflection of the innocence, excitement and drama of that important time in America's history.

A Call To Spy

As Great Britain's forces were stretched thin during World War II, Winston Churchill's Special Operations Executive began to enlist women as spies. Their daunting mission: conduct sabotage and build a resistance. Spymistress Vera Atkins, later the inspiration for Ian Fleming's Miss Moneypenny in the James Bond franchise, was the chief recruiter for this secret army. Atkins selected two unusual candidates: Virginia Hall, an American journalist from Baltimore with a wooden leg, and Noor Inayat Khan, a wireless officer of Indian descent and an avowed pacifist.

Happy Together

Tony Leung (Hero, Red Cliff) and Leslie Cheung (Knock Off) play a pair of lovers living out the waning days of their relationship as expatriates in Buenos Aires. Lusty tango bars, the salsa music of the La Boca sidewalks, and a hypnotic visit to the nearby Iguazu Falls give further dimension to the tensions growing between the two lovers. From Director Wong Kar-Wai (Chungking Express, My Blueberry Nights, Fallen Angels). Note: filed under "World of Wong Kar Wai" in Drama.

Chungking Express

Two stories of heartbroken police officers trying to move on from ex-lovers. First story has Cop 223 (Takeshi Kaneshiro) and his intertwined fate with a mysterious woman in a blonde wig. Second story with Cop 663 (Tony Leung Chiu-wai) has his attention roused by a food stand employee Faye (Faye Wong). Anything goes in Wong's gloriously shot and utterly unexpected charmer, which cemented the sex appeal of its gorgeous stars and forever turned canned pineapple and the Mamas and the Papas' "California Dreamin'" into tokens of romantic longing.

Days Of Being Wild

Wong Kar-Wai's follow up to 'As Tears Go By' (1988) marked a turning point in Eastern cinema, straddling both 'art house' and action features. Set in Hong Kong in 1960 during a sweltering summer it follows Yuddi's (Leslie Cheung) search for some meaning in his life. He has affairs with two beautiful women and hangs out with his friends, before leaving for the Philippines in search of his mother. Note: filed under "World of Wong Kar Wai" in Drama.

Mary Magdalene

She is one of the most transformative yet misunderstood women in history, alternately vilified as a sinner and canonized as a saint. For the first time, the incredible story of Mary Magdalene is told through her own eyes. In the first century A.D., the free-spirited Mary (Rooney Mara) flees the marriage her family has arranged for her, finding refuge and a sense of purpose in a radical new movement led by the charismatic, rabble-rousing preacher Jesus (Joaquin Phoenix).
