Hard Rock

Alex Masi continues his rich musical journey with Late Nights At Desert's Rimrock. The album also features his MCM bandmate and drummer John Macaluso (Yngwie Malmsteen, Ark). The CD resulted from some informal raw jams between Masi and Macaluso. These jams saw Masi start on bass guitar playing to grooves laid down by Macaluso with no preconceived ideas, plans or melody with spontaneity being the main motivator. Late Nights At Desert's Rimrock is a wild musical ride with no specific goal other than "music" itself.

At the beginning of the 1990's, AC/DC were re-forming and getting ready for the next generation of hard rockers. The Razor's Edge was produced by studio guru Bruce Fairbairn with all songs written by brothers Angus and Malcolm Young. Features the classics "Thunderstruck", "Moneytalks" and "Are You Ready".
