This album was the third to feature Warren Haynes on guitar and Allen Woody on bass, joining Gregg Allman (Hammond B-3 organ, piano, acoustic guitar and lead vocals).
A follow-up to their self-titled debut, Analogtherapy is the Alien Cowboys second CD recording, a nine song CD offering all original material, highlighted again by singable melodies and driving rhythms which became their trademark on their first release. Songs such as "Sagarmatha" and "Alien Cowboys Theme" are replete with guitarist Ralph Perucci`s lead jams as well as second guitarist Bruce Stevenson`s propulsive rhythm chunk. Stevenson`s production is again top-notch -- Analogtherapy is an album permeated by the group`s strength, fervor and passion for instrumental rock.
