Radiant Heat, by Japanese guitarist Hisashi, instrumentally retells the story of an atomic bomb landing on Japan in 1945, using high energy, technical hard rock guitar. The story unfolds in segments, with Hisashi pulling out all the stops with his six-string, blazing over the title track and ""Flash Burn"", whipping out awesome arpeggios for ""A Human Shadow On The Steps"", delivering evocative acoustic lines in ""Black Rain"" - all before laying out the shred for ""Dancing Worm & Million Flies"". ""The Death Of A Soldier"" is one of the most emotional electric pieces, and Hisashi closes the album with his acoustic guitar again in ""Right Mind"". Radiant Heat is held together by the images and visions of the composer, while delivering the excitement through Hisashi`s amazing axework.
