Transition is the third, long awaited, follow up album to 2002's "The Second Coming", from the project studio of LA based guitarist Neal Nagaoka. As on his second album, Nagaoka again teams up with guitarists David Martone and Brian Poulsen on the last track, "All Night Wrong". The trio trade furious solos over the fusiony sounding track. Nine other instrumental tracks are also featured, laced with outstanding guitar work, boundless energy, surprising grooves and top-notch solos. Nagaoka, with Transition, has now completed a trilogy of albums which all showcase his effortlessly smooth fretwork, astonishing sweeping technique and versatility as a player and composer.
