The Latino Diamante Awards are granted to individuals and organizations that are making significant contributions to the Latino/Hispanic community of North Carolina and to celebrate the diversity within the Latino/Hispanic community.

The amazing Lord of the Dance was an Irish musical and dance production performed at Raleigh's Memorial Auditorium that was created, choreographed, and produced by Irish-American dancer Michael Flatley. Now in its third year, the North Carolina Chinese Lantern Festival features more than 20 displays, each one comprised of hundreds of parts, and thousands of LED lights.
