Captured across two nights at Madison Square Garden, the Crossroads Guitar Festival offers a variety of legendary guitarists performing a mix of sultry blues, classic rock and country jams. While Madison Square Garden is an epic arena, the concert remains intimate as Clapton and others collaborate on a sampling of the greatest hits of their careers. Held to benefit Crossroads Centre, a drug treatment and education facility in Antigua founded by Clapton, each concert has become a jam session of Clapton's closest friends and music's biggest stars - where anything can unfold onstage.

Eric Clapton assembled a who's who of guitar masters for his second stunning Crossroads Guitar Festival in 2007. Clapton invited old friends and new for the event in Chicago, with an all-star cast featuring Clapton, Steve Winwood, B.B. King, Robbie Robertson, Willie Nelson, Jeff Beck, Vince Gill, Sheryl Crow, Buddy Guy, Derek Trucks, John Mayer, Doyle Bramhall II, and more.

In June 2004, some of the greatest living guitar players and their bands gathered at the Cotton Bowl in Dallas, Texas, for a three-day festival to benefit the Crossroads Centre in Antigua. Crossroads Guitar Festival was the ultimate concert for any music lover, featuring one legend after the other: Eric Clapton, B.B. King, Buddy Guy, Eric Johnson, James Taylor, Jimmie Vaughan, Joe Walsh, John Mayer, Robert Cray, Robert Randolph, Santana, ZZ Top, and many more. This 2-DVD set beautifully documents the event and contains almost four hours of content.

One by one, the musicians climb on stage and take their places: B. B. King, Eric Clapton, Buddy Guy, Robert Cray, Bonnie Raitt, Jimmie Vaughan, Dr. John and Art Neville. Vaughan, standing at center stage, launches into "Six Strings Down," a moving tribute to his late brother, Stevie Ray, whose memory has drawn this group together.
