Beta

Like a story from classical mythology. A boy's mother dies at a very young age and he is heartbroken. His father remarries and the boy is introduced to her on his birthday. For him, his mother had returned. One problem, his mother is out to get the family fortune, because as in all Bollywood movies, the family is very wealthy. This is a long term scam though and will take years to pull off. The boy is so infatuated with his mother that he takes every word of hers as gospel. She has him work in the fields like a peasant and denies him an education.

Aisha

Director Rajashree Ojha succeeds in extracting decent performances from the entire cast. Sonam Kapoor fits the title role to T. Aisha is the most defined role she has essayed so far and Sonam adds spark and soul to it. Even when she irritates with her antics, she is in sync with her character. Abhay Deol as the suave corporate guy adds poise to, both, his character and performance, bringing sanity whenever Aisha goes insane. Amrita Puri as the small-town wannabe is hilarious with her middle-class mannerisms and elite aspirations.

All The Best

Veer (Fardeen Khan), a singer in greed of extracting extra pocket money from his step-brother Dharam (Sanjay Dutt), a business-honcho from London, tries to lie about his single status and puts it forth as happily married with Vidya (Mugdha Godse), who he is in love with. His friend Prem (Ajay Devgn), a concept car expert, lends a helping hand in this falsely embossed projection. Prem is happily married to Jhanvi (Bipasha Basu), who takes care of his ancestors' out-dated Chopra Gymnasium . Veer and Prem land up in debts as they had opted for a short-cut to earn easy money.

Chori Chori

Two people, who are absolutely opposite in everyway, find themselves on the downside of life. She, a lonely but high-spirited soul, has become jobless and homeless. He, a serious but dream-driven individual, has just been rejected by the love of his life. Eventually, their paths cross when she invades his "dream-designed" life by passing herself off as his fiance. That's when the fun starts and the web of lies that they weave together ends up bonding them deeper into each other's lives to the point of falling in love.

Aladin

"Beware, O Beautiful Ones," the title tells us--beware, indeed, because Ranbir Kapoor is already scorching his way to the top in this, his second film, and setting hearts on fire along the way. Kapoor--the grandson of the granddaddy of Indian film, actor Raj Kapoor, and the cousin of actress Kareena Kapoor--has the talent to match his pedigree and it shows even in this predictable, albeit entertaining movie about a commitment-phobe who gets a comeuppance.

Aaja Nachle

Years later she returns to a place that judges her for that choice. For the wishes of her now deceased former dance teacher she tries to save an open air stage from demolition. The deal is that if she can stage a production from the locals and win them over, the authorities will rescind the order to demolish it. Madhuri Dixit's return to movies and it is built for her. The dance and staging is exceptional in this piece.
