Comedy/Spoof

Without A Clue

Legendary detective Sherlock Holmes and the inimitable Dr. Watson (or is it the other way around?) are at the center of this comic spoof that stars Academy Award-winning actors Michael Caine (Best Supporting Actor, Hannah and Her Sisters) and Ben Kingsley (Best Actor, Gandhi). Dr. John Watson (Kingsley) has fooled the world. He's created a work of fiction in the figure of the crime-solving sleuth, Sherlock Holmes, when it is he himself who has set about solving crimes.

Scary Movie 5

Home with their newly-formed family, happy parents Dan and Jody are haunted by sinister, paranormal activities - disrupting new mama Jody's dancing aspirations in the "Swan Lake" ballet and threatening Dan's rise as an ape researcher. Determined to expel the insidious f-rce, they install security cameras and discover their family is being stalked by an evil dead demon!

Johnny English Reborn

International funnyman Rowan Atkinson (Johnny English, Mr. Bean) returns as the accidental secret agent who doesn't know fear or danger in this hilarious spy film spoof that's outrageous fun for the whole family! In his latest mission, Johnny English must stop a group of international assassins before they eliminate a world leader and cause global chaos. With just one shot at redemption, he will use (or misuse) the latest high-tech gadgets and every trick in his playbook to protect us all. Critics cheer, "You'll get a kick out of Johnny English Reborn!" (Scott Bowles, USA Today)

Johnny English Strikes Again

Johnny English Strikes Again is the third installment of the Johnny English comedy series, with Rowan Atkinson returning as the much loved accidental secret agent. The new adventure begins when a cyber-attack reveals the identity of all active undercover agents in Britain, leaving Johnny English as the secret services last hope. Called out of retirement, English dives head first into action with the mission to find the mastermind hacker. As a man with few skills and analogue methods, Johnny English must overcome the challenges of modern technology to make this mission a success.

Easy Wheels

A parody of 1960s biker movies features a group of leather-clad bikers (led by Paul Le Mat) are on the trail of a gang of female bikers (the Women of the Wolf, led by Young and the Restless actress Eileen Davidson) who are stealing babies all over the state and selling them on the black market.

Fathom

A certain lime-green bikini reaches icon status in Fathom, clinging as tightly to Raquel Welch as those phagocytes that attacked her in Fantastic Voyage. Raquel was the reigning sex goddess of the moment, which is all you need to know about Fathom, an otherwise extremely silly example of proto-Austin Powers spy spoofery. She's a poster come to life, and the movie is geared around her '60s outfits (a purple-and-cornflower ensemble is particularly stupefying), her orange-peach lipstick, and the way her hair seems perfectly in place even after a high-speed boat chase.

Galaxy Quest

Twenty years after cancellation, the stars of the Galaxy Quest television series cling to their careers appearing at sci-fi conventions and electronic store openings. When a distressed interstellar race mistakes the show for "historical documents," Jason Nesmith (Tim Allen) and his crew of has-beens are unwittingly recruited to save them from a genocidal warlord. Galaxy Quest features an all-star ensemble, including Sigourney Weaver, Alan Rickman, Tony Shalhoub and Same Rockwell in this hilarious adventure that boldly goes where no comedy has gone before.

You Don't Mess With the Zohan

Zohan's star and SNL alumnus Adam Sandler is joined by several fellow cast members (in uncredited cameo roles) from his years on the NBC show. But Sandler also co-wrote the film's absurdist script with SNL veteran writer and sometime-performer Robert Smigel. Echoes of a few of their classic skits on the show--built around high-strung Israeli characters obsessed with disco and selling junk electronics out of a New York shop--are in revisited in Zohan and are a lot of fun to see again.

Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story

The Pixar-like roll of Judd Apatow (The 40-Year-Old Virgin, Knocked Up, Superbad) continues with another sure-fire hit. In charting the meteoric rise, catastrophic fall and Lazarus-like rise of rocker Dewey Cox, Walk Hard parodies the classic Hollywood bio-pic, cashing in mostly on Walk the Line. John C.
