  • Made On Honor - Sold On Merit
  • Hi-Neighbor! When 'Gansett Beer was founded in 1890, Rhode Island's Narragansett seashore was emerging as a top summer destination. In those golden days before the automobile, tourists were accustomed to extened, stationary vacations. Featuring 19 major luxury hotels and countless things to do, Narragansett was a favored destination, and "bathing" at the town beach was a beloved pastime.
  • Over the years, a series of fires and nor'easters got the better of the hotels, but the town beach still endures. Nearly every New England seaside town has its own town beach, each with a unique story. Next time you pack up the sunscreen and head for your local slice of sand by the sea, make sure to pack a cooler full of crisp, flavorful Town Beach Day Pass IPA. It's as uniquely refreshing as a dip in the Atlantic.

Brewer's Exegesis

The Town Beach IPA is being released on the heels of our highly-rated Summer Ale. This sessionable IPA was brewed specially for late summer months and is available on draft and in sixteen ounce tall boy cans through late summer and early fall. Quality Supreme: We brew our Town Beach IPA with Pale, Cara Pils and Wheat malts along with an assortment of three of the finest hops (Hallertau, Nugget, and EKG). It is then dry hopped with Citra at the finish to deliver a well-rounded and balanced hop profile. Taste & Enjoy: Crisp, clean and just the right amount of bite from our distinct blend of hops make the Town Beach IPA a thoroughly enjoyable beer that offers tremendous drinkability. Golden amber in color, with a sweet aroma this beer is perfect for late summer or early fall drinking refreshment. The History: The Town Beach IPA has evolved from the Town Beach Imperial IPA to be a lighter IPA that finishes clean. The can features a late 1800’s beach scene from Narragansett’s Town Beach and speaks to ‘Gansett’s 125 years of local tradition.
