The Beer Can section is a virtual homage to the American beer-can collecting craze of the 1970s. The rise of thousands of microbreweries have made 'dump scouring' or digging for old beer cans in the woods and abandoned campgrounds a thing of the past. The thousands of young men who could pick up a can in any vacant lot when the hobby was at its zenith in the 1970s have grown up - but fortunately may now find hundreds of colorful cans (full of good brew) within mere miles of their homes.

Brewer's Exegesis

A Harmonious Happening Of Hops. A highly hopped India Pale Ale, which was formerly our spring seasonal. It began and ended with a hop bite that is itself forever balanced on the brink by a steady rhythm of malt. The label was designed by artist Stanley Mouse who is internationally acclaimed for his iconographic concert posters for venues like the Fillmore Auditoriums and the Winterland Ballroom as well as his classic album covers for the Grateful Dead and other bands. h.I.P.A. is a brilliant golden ale that begins and ends with big, bountiful bites of hops, hops and more hops, while never losing its barest hint of malty middle.
